The Conejo Valley Archers provides a Open Public Archery Session every Saturday, rain or shine, at the club's Public Session Range facility. Come out and join us!

We welcome individuals and families interested in the sport of archery to train with us, starting with the basics and giving you the opportunity to move up through longer distances and into competitions.

We also offer the opportunity to join our Junior Olympic Achievement Development Program (JOAD) for archers up to age 20 and the Adult Achievement Pin Program for anyone over 18 years.

The Conejo Valley Archers are proud of our certified coaches and instructors. CVA Coaches are USA Archery certified, which includes background checks and Safe Sport certifications. This means they have had extensive training in archery as well as in-depth training in safety and management of large groups.

Please take a few minutes to learn about some of our coaches and their backgrounds.....

CVA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and it takes some creative thinking to build, raise funds, run and maintain such a facility. Hosting private parties, groups and special events helps us accomplish this goal. It also provides an alternative activity to folks who would like to do something out of the ordinary.

Private groups have included everyone from Scouts to church groups, professional team building events, social gatherings and of course birthday parties! (See a short list of some of our groups below)

We are capable of handling groups up to 100 but most groups range from 15-40 people. Depending on the size of the group we like to have one instructor for every 6 people. (This depends on the ages of the attendees)

There are plenty of picnic tables available for food and beverages. Most people bring whatever snack, lunches or birthday cakes with them when they come. It is a carry-in; carry-out facility and we have on site recycling areas for plastic, cans and glass. Some restrictions apply.

Groups that regularly attend our Private Group Events include:

Boy Scouts
Girl Scouts
American Heritage Girls
National Charity League
Athletic Teams
Boys and Girls Club
Seniors Social
Birthday Parties for all ages

NOTE: Groups cannot be accommodated during our Saturday Public Open Sessions.

Minimum age of participants is 8 years.
